4.2 START A PROJECT AND CREATE AN INPUT FILE

Create a generation input file pre-f.in for constructing a dam model using GDAP. You may use the MS Windows Notepad program to accomplish this.

Upload pre-f.in into WebDams.com system. See screen-snap-shots before and after the upload.

Now go back to SSH terminal window and type

pico /tmp/pre-f.in

to open pre-f.in and save it as demo.in by pressing Ctrl^O. Change /tmp/pre-f.in into demo.in and press enter and then exit by pressing Ctrl^X .
