SSI ANALYSIS TOOLS

Following computer programs are currently integrated in the WebDams.com system for soil-structure-interaction analysis:

QFLUSH: Soil-structure interaction analysis program.
QFPOST: Post-processor for QFLUSH.
SAP2F: Utility to generate QFLUSH input file from a SAP-2000 "*.s2k" file.

A typical SSI project includes the following:

  1. Create a finite-element model using SAP2000® program to perform static analyses. Using SAP2000® capabilities, save the model in "*.s2k" format and the static analysis results in "*.txt" file. Save each static load case as a separate file.
  2. Upload all "*.s2k" and "*.txt" files onto WebDams.com system.
  3. Run SAP2F utility to translate SAP2000® "*.s2k" file into QFLUSH input file
  4. Make all the necessary modifications to QFLUSH input file and perform time history analyses by running QFLUSH.
  5. Run QFPOST to combine static and time-history analyses and produce combined results.
  6. Finally, download the results to your local computer system.
