EACD-3D, developed at University of California
at Berkeley, performs three-dimensional earthquake analysis
of arch dams and gravity dams. This program implements an analytical
procedure that includes the effects of dam-foundation interaction,
dam-water interaction, and of the energy absorption at the reservoir
boundaries. The WebDams.com system offers a modified version
of EACD-3D that allows for the use of different values of reflection
coefficient assigned to individual reservoir bottom and side
elements.
